Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Supplier Performance Specialist in the United States to coordinate supplier creation with the Performance Team and maintain complete vendor records for certifications and approvals.

You will produce monthly performance data, scorecards, and risk analyses to drive improvements. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, with travel up to 50% and AS9100/9120 knowledge, are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience
• 5+ years of experience managing performance of suppliers and/or vendors
• 5+ years of experience in QA and process inspection, preferably from the Aerospace
• Experience analyzing data and identifying and monitoring KPIs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person
• Knowledge of AS9100/9120 Standards
• Experience with SAP
• Auditing training/qualifications
• Excellent communication skills
• Procedures and work instruction writing experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the supplier creation process with the Supplier Performance Team
• Manage vendor account maintenance and maintain complete, up-to-date records of supply-chain certifications and approvals
• Produce monthly Supplier Performance data, including Supplier Scorecards and On Holds and Rejection data
• Compile analytical Supplier Performance data and identify focused areas for action and improvement
• Generate periodic strategic Supplier Risk Analysis and similar data to support Supplier Performance objectives
• Manage and maintain Self Release audit and maintenance processes
• Report areas of concern to the Supplier Performance Team for action implementation
• Perform other duties as assigned
