Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced professional to lead supplier performance initiatives in the aerospace sector. You will coordinate supplier creation with our performance team and maintain vendor records, ensuring compliance and timely processing.

Responsibilities include producing monthly supplier scorecards, distributing findings, and identifying improvement opportunities. Travel up to 50% may be required; AS9100/9120 knowledge and auditing training are valuable assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience.
• 5+ years managing supplier/vendor performance.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• AS9100/9120 knowledge and SAP experience.

• Procedures and work instruction writing experience.

Job description

• Coordinate the Supplier creation process with the Supplier Performance Team and ensure requests for new suppliers are completed in a timely manner
• Manage vendor account maintenance to ensure complete and up-to-date records of supply-chain certifications, approvals, and related information
• Produce monthly Supplier Performance data, including Supplier Scorecards and On Holds and Rejection data
• Distribute Supplier Performance data internally and to the Supply Chain
• Compile analytical Supplier Performance data and identify focused areas for action and improvement
• Generate periodic strategic Supplier Risk Analysis and similar data to support Supplier Performance objectives
• Manage and maintain Self Release audit and maintenance processes
• Report areas of concern to the Supplier Performance Team for action implementation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5+ years of related work experience
• 5+ years of experience managing performance of suppliers and/or vendors
• 5+ years of experience in QA and process inspection, preferably from within the Aerospace
• Experience analyzing data, also identifying and monitoring KPI’s
• Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point.)
• This position may require traveling up to 50% of the time
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements and be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 / §120.62
• Ability to take on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and achieve business results
• Knowledge of AS9100/9120 Standards
• Experience with SAP
• Internal and/or External Auditing training/qualifications
• Excellent communication skills required
• Procedures & work instruction writing experience
