You will collaborate across the organization to optimize processes, lead supplier reviews, and implement corrective actions, leveraging extensive quality tools and project management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Quality Engineering.
• 5+ years of proven Quality Engineering/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with aerospace components and assemblies preferred.
• Strong project management skills within manufacturing.
• Excellent technical and quality management skills with supplier audits and quality tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in supplier development and improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of costs, risks, and liabilities in supplier quality.

Responsibilities

• Develops, communicates, and executes supplier improvement initiatives to boost quality, delivery, and resilience.
• Contributes to cost, quality, and lead-time improvements by expanding supplier capability.
• Guide and support suppliers in resolving quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Assess and develop supplier quality management systems, process capability, and readiness including people and tooling.
• Research potential suppliers, assess practices and capability; conduct supplier quality audits.
• Support suppliers with process enhancements and quality assurance plans.
• Generate reports on supplier quality and guide defect-rate reduction.
• Lead supplier performance reviews with select suppliers and coordinate with stakeholders.
