You will audit suppliers, conduct first articles, manage corrective actions, and monitor key performance indicators with a cross-functional team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and suppliers, development of new suppliers, and ensuring manufacturability while navigating DoD-related requirements.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required due to DoD requirements.
• Able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearances.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering and procurement to ensure supplier compliance with contract requirements.
• Evaluate and select suppliers that can meet product and schedule needs.
• Perform source inspections, first article inspections, and schedule reviews.
• Conduct supplier audits to qualify new suppliers and improve performance.
• Monitor KPIs like on-time delivery, first pass yield, and cost of quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions and drive quality improvements.
