Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation’s SAS unit in Summerville, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer-Associate to assist with manufacturing analyses, processes, and CNC programming under supervision.

You will establish process flow, create standard procedures, support shop activities, and coordinate with design engineering for new product releases. A DoD clearance and US citizenship are required; a Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial engineering degree is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience with machining, CNC, welding, or assembly strongly preferred.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Establish manufacturing process flow and work instructions.
• Create and update manufacturing standard procedures.
• Provide shop support and mentoring of shop personnel.
• Interface with design engineering for product release and review engineering drawings.
• Manage CNC program files and perform first-time prove outs.
