Job summary

Currriss-Wright EMS SAS in Summerville, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer-Associate to support manufacturing projects and develop processes under supervision.

You will establish process flows, create standard procedures, and liaise with engineering and production teams to improve productivity while controlling costs. A relevant engineering degree and manufacturing exposure are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial engineering.
• 1+ year in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with CNC, machining, welding or assembly is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel; CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes Manufacturing process flow and work instruction.
• Create and update manufacturing standard procedure defining specific processes.
• Perform routine operations or methods analyses to improve labor standards and reduce costs.
• Evaluate engineering changes and coordinate with program management, design, quality and production.
