Job description

PROLIM Global Corporation (www.prolim.com) is currently seeking Supplier Engineer for the location Santa Clara, California, United States for one of our top clients.

Job Description:

1. Responsible for managing overall supplier manufacturing and operational issues across the supplier base, ensuring process controls are established and maintained throughout the entire manufacturing process.
2. Involved in supplier issue resolution.
3. Work on implementing corrective actions.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during issue resolution.
5. Develop and propose supplier improvement plans.
6. Document key learnings into Best Known Methods (BKM) wherever applicable.
7. Assist in the supplier technical audit process, evaluate supplier performance and capability, and drive continuous improvement opportunities at suppliers.
8. Educational qualification: Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
9. Strong knowledge in supplier development and supplier quality.
10. Understanding of mechanical parts and assemblies.
11. Ability to read and interpret drawings.
12. Good understanding of various manufacturing processes and dependencies.
13. Hands-on experience with problem-solving methodologies.
14. Proficiency in 8D, CAPA, etc.
15. Understanding of vacuum and associated components is an added advantage.
16. Effective written and oral communication skills.
17. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
