Job summary

Gulfstream, a unit of General Dynamics, seeks a Supply Chain Development Project Manager in the Los Angeles area to drive supplier improvement efforts and ensure on-time, quality production. This high-visibility role partners with major suppliers and internal teams, with regional travel up to 75%.

You will apply Lean and Six Sigma to identify root causes, develop action plans, and monitor performance metrics while coaching teams and suppliers to sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field.
• Six (6) years of operational and/or supply chain experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading projects and driving measurable business results.
• Ability to analyze complex manufacturing and supply chain challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Gulfstream contact for major supplier(s) in the Los Angeles area.
• Lead supplier assessments to evaluate production readiness, capacity, and operational performance.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive action plans through completion.
• Partner with suppliers to improve delivery performance, quality, lead times, and overall efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Analyze supplier operations, production planning, materials management, capacity planning, and workflow processes.
