Job summary

Delta Faucet Company is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage direct material PO release through receipt and invoicing. You will coordinate with suppliers, plants, and the Sourcing Team to optimize purchasing, BOM changes, and supplier performance.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, data accuracy in ERP systems, and collaboration across internal teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Earned a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of Buyer/Planner and/or procurement experience.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and process enhancements with tangible results.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to act as a knowledgeable resource to others within the group.
• Experience using ERP (SAP or equivalent), reporting systems (Power BI or equivalent) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to write Excel formulas, develop reports/charts/graphs in the above systems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct Material Purchase Order Management: review, approve, and release purchase orders; coordinate with suppliers and Plant Production Planners to expedite material.
• Proactively catch and prevent future supply gaps; update promised delivery dates in SAP.
• Work with vendors and plants to resolve daily operational questions; analyze inventory/demand and lead times to optimize purchasing.
• Lead supplier inventory agreement processes; ensure key supplier data accuracy; collaborate on BOM updates.
• Lead and support projects to deliver cost savings and quality improvements; represent Buyer/Planner on cross-functional projects.
