Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader in Valparaiso to support historically difficult courses. The SI Leader is a student or recent graduate who has excelled in the class and will model effective study strategies.
You will attend the same class daily, take notes, conduct small group study sessions, and collaborate with faculty. This is a part-time position, with up to 28 hours per week, paid $15.00 per hour, and scheduling varies with course
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic support program that targets historically difficult courses. The SI Leader is a student or recent Ivy Tech graduate who has taken and excelled in the class. SI Leaders should be prepared to share with students how to effectively study for the course. SI Leaders attend the same class every day, taking notes and listening closely to the professor.
