Job summary

Dearborn Group is seeking a claims analyst to evaluate hospital indemnity, critical illness, and related insurance claims. You will analyze data, process cases, and advise on approvals or denials under supervision, using multiple claims systems.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Knowledge of medical terminology and ERISA is a plus; position offers hybrid work and a strong total

Qualifications

• High School degree and 2 years of related work experience.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and research abilities.
• Excellent customer service with clear verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and relevant claims systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, process, and recommend approval or denial of hospital indemnity and related claims.
• Handle weekly income claims and other policy claims with accuracy.
• Maintain high quality and speed in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize core systems such as ECM, STAR, Genelco/GIAS, Salesforce, and UTS.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders; assist in regulatory compliance.
