U.S. Pacific Fleet is seeking a qualified Business Intelligence and Data Analytics professional to support long-range workload plans, mission funding, and performance assessments.

The role oversees BI operations and provides technical and administrative guidance, reviewing subordinates’ work and guiding development as needed. You will use automated tools to process data, create datasets for analysis, and develop dashboards, reports, and graphs to present trends to decision-makers.

Qualifications

  • You will oversee business intelligence and analytics operations, providing both technical and administrative guidance.

  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
GS-13:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing operational and business data using business intelligence and data analytics techniques to identify trends and systemic patterns and developing strategic recommendations and data-driven insights for leadership, in order to ensure informed decision-making and optimized business initiatives for shipyard operations.
