Job summary

NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND is seeking a Supervisory Management Analyst in the Configuration Management Department to lead planning, direction, and execution of CM/DM programs for multiple weapons systems. You will exercise delegated authority from the Commander and oversee workload, promotions, and performance guidance.

The position requires establishing CM/DM policies, coordinating with Navy SYSCOMS and private industry, and reviewing multi-year plans to upgrade weapon systems while coordinating

• Establish and maintain CM/DM policies and procedures in conjunction with other services, Navy SYSCOMS, and private industry, and provide planning, development, and execution for all Navy and Marine Corps programs
• Review multi-year work plans to upgrade and modify weapon systems, with familiarity of the OSIP budget

Job description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Configuration Management Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will have the ability to exercise delegated authority from the Commander, Naval Air Systems Command to manage planning, direction, and timely execution of the Configuration Management and Data Management program for multiple weapons systems
• You will be responsible for workload assignment, promotion and reassignment of staff members and evaluation of their performance; providing advice, counsel and/or instruction to individual employees on work matters and developmental needs.
• You will determine the nature and scope of the weapons system’s specific upgrade or problem through extensive probing and analysis
• You will establish and maintain CM/DM policies and procedures, in conjunction with other services, Navy SYSCOMS, and private industry, and to provide the planning, development, and execution for all Navy and Marine Corps programs
• You will review multi-year work plans to upgrade and modify weapon systems, familiarity with the Operational, Safety Improvement Program (OSIP) budget
