Job summary

Naval Education and Training Command in Virginia Beach is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to serve as the principal point of contact for NETC electronic classroom and training delivery. The role requires managing IT service management, change management, process improvement, internal controls, and reporting to the IT Director and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizes knowledge, skills and ability to manage IT Project Management, including requirements coordination, planning, scheduling, risk management, and change management in accordance with organization and command-level standards and policies; 2) Leads, supervises, and develops personnel performing IT project management, asset management, logistics, inventory, and customer support functions; 3) Manages and oversees IT resources, asset lifecycle, property accountability, inventory, logistics, and equipment disposition IAW Federal, DoD, DoN policy and command-level standards; and 4. Coordinates technical, cybersecurity, operational, and resource requirements across IT projects and services to ensure compliance.
