Job summary

KerixHealth's Columbia, Missouri Direct Primary Care practice is seeking a Supervisory Direct Primary Care Physician to lead a NP team while maintaining your own patient panel.

In this role you will work four clinical days and one administrative day per week, with no on-call burden, and practice a broad range of primary care tasks. Compensation aligns with a membership-based model, with relocation and sign-on options available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active Missouri medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Willingness and ability to serve as Supervisory Physician under Missouri collaborative practice requirements.
• Excellent communicator who builds trust with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

This is a Direct Primary Care role - which means no RVUs, no call, no insurance headaches, and the kind of patient relationships that remind you why you chose primary care. We are seeking a Direct Primary Care physician to hold your own panel, plus serve as a Supervisory Physician for a team of Nurse Practitioners. Sign on bonus and relocation available!

What We're Looking For:

Required:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Missouri medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Willingness and ability to serve as Supervisory Physician under Missouri collaborative practice requirements
• Excellent communicator who builds trust quickly - with patients and colleagues alike

Preferred:

• Experience supervising or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners or APPs
• Primary Care experience
• Comfortable managing a broad range of primary care conditions independently
• Energized by a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
