Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is seeking a Supervisory Attorney Adviser (Civil Rights) at the GS-0905-14 level to advise on EEOC matters and to lead engagement and accommodation programs across the agency. The role requires a J.D. or LL.B.
from an ABA-accredited law school, active bar membership, and three years of professional legal experience, including at least one year at the GS-13 level. Substitutions with LL.M or J.S.D are allowed.
As a Supervisory Attorney Adviser (Civil Rights) at the GS-0905-14, you will be part of the Workforce Engagement & Accommodation Resources Division, Office for Civil Rights, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). If selected, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on matters regarding all aspects of promoting equal employment opportunity (EEO) throughout the agency, and to manage all engagement and accommodation programs, training, and initiatives at the EEOC.
You must have earned a professional law degree (J.D. or LL.B.) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association, be an active member of the BAR, and have three (3) years of professional legal experience with at least one year being equivalent to the GS-13 level.
Professional legal education above the first professional law degree may be substituted for experience required as follows:
