As a Secretary at the GS-0318-8, you will be part of the Charlotte Legal Unit, Office of General Counsel (OGC), U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If selected, you will be responsible for providing advanced administrative support in a litigation environment, including preparing legal and administrative documents for the Regional Attorney and other legal staff. For the GS-8: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience includes providing administrative support in a professional office; maintaining files and records; preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents; scheduling meetings and managing calendars; coordinating workflow; tracking deadlines; and providing clerical support to a legal and/or professional staff.
