The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a qualified Department of War (DoW) employee to fill a full-time Supervisory Acquisition Program Manager (GG-1101-14) to work at Joint Base San Antonio, Lackland, TX.
This is a unique opportunity to serve as the Flight Director of our Test Support Flight, where you will be instrumental in providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over non-supervisory program management employees assigned to the 346 CTES.

We Are Looking For a Leader Who Has

• Professional knowledge of business and industry practices, corporate financial management, Planning, Programming Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES), and commercial contracting/acquisition procedures
• Knowledge of military safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures, including specific protocols for safeguarding classified and controlled unclassified information (CUI).
• Skill in applying advanced business analysis and critical thinking to strategically plan, manage, and integrate all aspects of complex programs (including contracts, resources, and personnel) to ensure optimal efficiency and mission effectiveness.
• Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.
• Ability to function as a Subject Matter Expert and trusted advisor, adeptly integrating extensive Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of business operations, industry capabilities, Air Force and DoW missions, structures, and program management to influence strategic program and budget execution.
  

Salary: $127,624 - $165,917

Qualifications/Requirements

In this position you will serve as a senior director providing comprehensive supervisory, business, and industrial programmatic oversight for the 346CTES Test Support Flight. The incumbent directs the business operations of the squadron, ensuring effective execution of all cyber test mission acceptance, commercial contract management, and strategic business resource management. Furthermore, the incumbent operates a complex reimbursable customer-funding model, integrating commercial industry best practices and utilizing contractor personnel to deliver critical technical, industrial, and administrative support for Air Force cyber testing.

Qualifications

US citizenship is required.
Positions is designated critical-sensitive and employee must be able to acquire a Top-Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
This is a drug testing position. Must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
This position is Acquisition Category A, Level III and must meet appropriate certification requirements IAW the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act no later than 24 months after accepting this position.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide the acquisition program management support necessary to meet the strategic goals of the Unified Platform Branch.
• Be responsible for all acquisition program management and sustainment support to Cyberspace Operations.
• Guide programs using Agile methodologies throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead and execute numerous projects providing infrastructure and war-fighting capabilities in support of cyber activities including both unclassified and highly classified acquisition and sustainment efforts.
