Job description

This location is a unionized facility, and we are seeking an Overnight Warehouse Supervisor to manage a team of 15-20 staff members. The position requires working from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Supervision and Operations

Supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team and designated facility. Work with Operations leadership to ensure company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, provide performance feedback, and assign duties to direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Manage operational procedures including incoming and outgoing shipments, organization of merchandise, and warehouse inventory maintenance.
• Plan production schedules and resource allocation to complete job assignments while keeping time and production records.
• Track and report activities to designated plant personnel.
• Monitor warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure product availability.
• Investigate accidents according to the company’s procedures, if necessary.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and material handling equipment.
• Resolve employee issues and maintain open communication across all organizational levels.
• Perform assigned projects as instructed.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• At least 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong conflict management skills.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage while wearing PPE and freezer gear.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kg.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with noisy environments.

Pay Range: $54,000.00 - $91,100.00
