Job Summary

Provides lead direction to security guards at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s). Performs duties of Security Guard within the scope of assignment, observes and reports activities and incidents, and ensures the security and safety of client property and personnel. Conducts periodic tours to check for irregularities, inspects protection devices and fire control equipment, preserves order, and enforces regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and premises.

• Coaches and disciplines personnel; seeks advice from management and meets with employees to document coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
• Assists in payroll and personnel information submissions.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions in collaboration with management.
• Prepares, files, and submits reports as required.
• Inspects posts and holds meetings with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer as per post orders and company policy.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above‑average computer and technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in pre‑employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation.
