Supervisor - Full Time at Sparks, NV is responsible for providing lead direction to Security Guards on the assigned shift. The role includes monitoring activities, reporting incidents, and ensuring the safety of client property and personnel.

You will conduct periodic tours and enforce site regulations as needed. Responsibilities include supervising officers, coaching and disciplining staff, training, payroll assistance, and ensuring post coverage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and other personnel across posts; ensure post orders are followed and reports filed.
• Coach and discipline personnel; conduct meetings and document actions.
• Train Security Officers and review assignments with subordinates.
• Assist in payroll and personnel information submissions.
• Ensure adequate coverage of posts in coordination with management.
• Prepare, file, and submit reports as required.
• Inspect posts and outline tasks with subordinates.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and deliver quality service.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.

Primary Location: Sparks, NV (USA - Parkway)

Wage Range: $21.00-$22.00/HR

Shift: 6AM - 3PM

Job Summary

Provides lead direction to Security Guards at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s). Performs duties of Security Guard within scope of assignment. Observes and reports activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); ensures post orders are followed, ensures established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with company management or designated representatives.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.
