We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor of the Travel Medical Disability Examiners to join our growing team! This role oversees physicians and mid-level providers on the Medical Disability Exam Travel team. Responsibilities include evaluating and conducting exams for Medical Disability claims for Veterans, including TBI exams. The role involves traveling within the U.S. to fixed facilities and mobile units to conduct exams. When not traveling, you will oversee the team, establish agreements with mid-level providers, and complete ACE and internal Medical Opinion requests as required by contracts.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. while taking on challenging responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
  • Licensed MD or DO
  • Current and unrestricted state license or the ability to obtain licensure in the state of work
  • Possession of a compact license (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) is a plus
  • Board certification in Psychiatry, Neurosurgery, Physiatry, or Neurology
  • Strong attention to detail, leadership, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more for monthly assignments
  • Ability to work remotely when not traveling to complete exams and other duties
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility to work in various environments, including mobile clinics and with homebound patients
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified VA Compensation and Pension Examiner
  • Experience with VA disability evaluations and knowledge of VA quality standards
  • Military or veteran healthcare experience
  • Leadership or supervisory experience

The salary range is $269,500 to $425,500 annually, based on full-time employment, experience, and performance. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions. Benefits are subject to eligibility.
