Job description

What you'll do:
  • Manage in-house and subcontracted resources performing underground outside plant (OSP) construction by coordinating construction efforts with drill crews, project scheduling, and cost tracking.
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training of in-house employees and subcontractor underground crews.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for statewide underground construction.
  • Track deliverables from data collection through review and distribution.
  • Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Oversee maintenance and care of company underground equipment and assets.
  • Ensure adherence to proper construction techniques, standards, and safety regulations.
Who we are looking for...
  • 3+ years of underground cable construction experience and at least 6 months of supervisory experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the underground cable construction process.
  • Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial metrics and address financial issues.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
