Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking a Telecommunications Supervisor Construction to lead and implement the construction program across multiple job sites. You will supervise crews, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, policy compliance, and on-time delivery of project milestones.

You must have 3+ years of supervisory experience in telecom, solid knowledge of industry standards, and a valid driver's license. The role requires strong communication and the ability to work independently and in a team in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in telecommunications.
• Working knowledge of telecom industry standards, practices, and regulations.
• Knowledge of aerial and underground construction methods.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work in various weather conditions, including inclement weather.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

You will supervise and implement the Company's Construction Program, ensuring each job site follows established construction rules, practices, standards, and policies.

You must be available to respond to call-outs as needed.

You will represent the company professionally and serve as a primary point of contact with customers, developers, property owners, utility companies, and municipalities.

You will coordinate, lead, and provide support to crews, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

You will monitor construction progress and ensure project schedules and deadlines are met.

You will ensure that all Corporate Policies and Procedures, safety requirements, and applicable standards are followed.

You will organize, plan, and prioritize daily workloads, effectively managing multiple tasks and changing priorities while working with minimal supervision.

You will establish and communicate deadlines, monitor progress, and adjust priorities as needed to meet project requirements.

You will communicate effectively and professionally with employees, management, customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

What you'll need

You have 3+ years of supervisory experience in the telecommunications industry.

You have working knowledge of telecommunications industry standards, practices, and regulations related to the construction of fiber optic and copper cable outside plant facilities.

You have knowledge of aerial and underground construction methods, as well as applicable engineering requirements.

You have a valid driver's license and a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.

You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

You are willing and able to work in various weather conditions, including inclement weather.

You are a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and take initiative.

You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
