Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking a Telecommunications Supervisor Construction to supervise and implement the Company’s Construction Program on field sites, ensuring compliance with rules, standards and policies.

You will lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure safety and deadlines while maintaining professional relations with customers and municipalities. Must be able to work in various weather conditions and respond to call-outs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Working knowledge of telecommunications industry standards, practices, and regulations for construction of fiber optic and copper facilities.
• Knowledge of aerial and underground construction methods and applicable engineering requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to work in various weather conditions, including inclement weather.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement the Company’s Construction Program, ensuring job sites follow established rules, practices, standards, and policies.
• Be available to respond to call-outs as needed.
• Represent the company professionally and act as primary contact with customers, developers, property owners, utility companies, and municipalities.
• Coordinate, lead, and support crews, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to complete work safely and efficiently.
• Monitor construction progress to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies, safety requirements, and applicable standards.
• Organize, plan, and prioritize daily workloads with minimal supervision.
• Establish and communicate deadlines, monitor progress, and adjust priorities to meet requirements.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with employees and stakeholders.
