VCI Construction is seeking a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground in Baldwin Park, CA. This field, salaried role requires overseeing underground telecom projects, large crews, and coordination with staff, subcontractors, and consultants.

The ideal candidate has extensive supervisory experience in underground construction, strong safety leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and time sheets while ensuring quality production and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• 3-5 years supervisory experience required in Aerial & Underground utility construction
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Ability to perform and/or manage multiple tasks, projects and prioritize responsibility
• Good understanding of OSHA requirements
• Osha 30 certification
• Excellent leadership skills
• Proficiency with Word/ Google & Excel programs
• Have a valid C Drivers License
• Knowledgeable in Underground Utilities Construction
• Able to read prints and line out crews
• Working outdoors subject to inclement weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Walkout projects and submit SOW totals
• Review and approve all production
• Keep complete and submit job closeout packages
• Be aware of all vehicle and equipment needs and condition, as well as employee performance and needs
• Effectively write reports, internal site audits, and manage employee time sheets
• Review and interpret drawings and specifications
• Performs other duties as assigned
