Ervin Cable Construction LLC is seeking a Supervisor for Telecom Construction Underground in the United States. This role oversees underground telecom crews, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate installation, maintenance, and repair of telecom equipment.

The ideal candidate has a related associate degree or 3 years of experience, prior supervisory background, strong project management skills, and consent to pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related field or 3 years of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and/or repair of telecommunications equipment to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and safety.
• Supervise day-to-day activities and project progress, guide execution, ensure delivery against milestones.
• Ensure excellent communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Identify and address project issues and risks, assist in response planning.
• Understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues.
• Implement and maintain processes to support assigned area or project.
• Communicate with company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.

Job description

A successful Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground shall be responsible for oversight of one or more underground telecommunication construction crews; responsible for ensuring that the installation, maintenance, and/or repair of a customer's telecommunications equipment is completed safely, timely, and accurately. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with excavation equipment, utility lines and poles, and the functionality of each; ability to use digger derrick and trenching equipment; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.

The wage range for Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground is $55,000.00 - $70,000.00.
