Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction LLC is seeking a Supervisor Telecom Aerial to lead our aerial and/or underground telecom crews.

You will oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of telecom equipment, ensure safety and timeliness, and coordinate with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• 1+ years of project management: planning, organizing, coordinating.
• Preferred: associate degree in a related field.
• Authorization to work in the United States and pass pre-employment checks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment for accuracy, timeliness, and safety.
• Supervise day-to-day activities and project progress, guiding execution and deliverables.
• Maintain clear communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Identify issues and risks and help develop response plans.
• Align tasks with current and future business goals.
• Implement processes to support assigned area or project.
• Coordinate with company personnel and contractors to ensure task completion.

The Supervisor Telecom Aerial provides direct, day‑to‑day supervision and coordination for our aerial and/or underground telecommunication construction crews. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and various other telecommunications construction equipment, and the functionality of each; ability to use cable placement equipment and tools; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.

What You’ll Do

• You will oversee installation, maintenance, and/or repair of telecommunications equipment to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and safety in completion.
• You will supervise day to day activities and project progress, establish guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables.
• You will ensure excellent communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist in an assigned area, department or project.
• You will identify and course correct project issues and risks, and assist in the development of response plans to resolve.
• You will understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues.
• You will implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project.
• You have the ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.

What You’ll Need

• Prior supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in a related industry or advanced training in the field (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
• 1 or more years of project management experience including planning, organizing and coordinating tasks.
• Authorization to work in the United States and successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
