Job summary

Parkside Utility Construction is seeking a Supervisor Telecom Aerial to oversee project operations, assign tasks, track materials, and ensure safety and quality. You will manage on-site personnel, maintain records, and resolve issues to complete projects safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes supervising construction crews, providing on‑the‑job training, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications and OSHA standards. Strong communication and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 3+ years of telecommunications experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all operations to ensure construction tasks meet specs and safety standards.
• Provide on‑the‑job training on practices and methods for a safe, productive environment.
• Assign daily production to in‑house and subcontract labor.
• Requisition, assign and track daily materials.
• Audit operations for compliance with project specs and safety.
• Resolve owner/customer complaints when needed.
• Review production reports and material usage; log hours and map areas built.
• Reconcile issued parts and materials daily for cost accuracy.
• Verify Daily Production Reports for billing accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your role involves managing on‑site personnel, maintaining accurate records, and resolving any issues to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, meeting all specifications.

What you’ll do

• Supervise all operations to ensure that all construction operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications. This includes ensuring that all employees working on projects are working safely and productively.
• Provide employees working under your direction "On the Job Training" such as construction practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Assign daily production to in‑house and subcontract laborers and crews.
• Requisition, assign and track materials needed for the daily operations.
• Perform audits of construction operations to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices.
• Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working.
• Review daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate "as‑built maps" for areas built.
• Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.
• Verify submitted Daily Production Reports for accuracy and approve recorded production for billing purposes.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
• Good understanding of OSHA requirements and a priority for safety
• Knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
• Knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
