In conjunction with their manager and/or director, the Supervisor, Team Lead Applications Analyst supervises and participates in the gathering of business requirements, conducting needs assessments, and developing functional specifications and builds to ensure that developed information technology (IT) solutions support business objectives across Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH). Works independently and supports and acts as a resource to a team of Application Analysts.

This is a hybrid position.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4) years of related IT experience.
• Minimum of 7+ years of IT experience(11+ years if no degree), preferably in healthcare or related field(s).
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Knowledge of advanced techniques, theories, and processes to complete work.
• Team player and ability to multitask in a progressive environment.
• Ability to interact with all levels of organization and staff in one-to-one settings and group presentations.
• Ability to organize and coordinate actions of small groups to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
• Works independently and effectively manages time unsupervised.
• Strong desktop skills including spreadsheets, diagrams, presentations, and other collaboration suite tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Requirements are consistent and based on the area of coverage within Information Technology and HMH: a) For EPIC applications: Certification by EPIC in the EPIC application/module pertinent to the team. b) For Other IT applications: Professional Certifications relevant to the team. NOTE: The above are determined by department and/or position needs for HMH. This includes, but is not limited to, EPIC certifications such as Prelude, Cadence, Willow, Cogito, Ambulatory, MyChart, Resolute, Health Information Management.
