Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Applications Analyst II to gather business requirements, conduct needs assessments, and develop functional specifications to support IT solutions aligned with business goals.

The role involves working with minimal supervision and acting as a resource for Applications Analyst I, with a hybrid schedule requiring one day in the office weekly. A BA/BS or equivalent experience is required along with proficiency in Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4) years of experience.
• Minimum of 2 (6 if no degree) years of IT experience and/or 2 (6 if no degree) years of Clinical experience.
• Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
• Works independently and effectively manages time with minimal supervision.
• Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.
• Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation.
• Collaborates with other team members across the department.
• Demonstrates self-direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.

This level works with minimal supervision and acts as a resource for Applications Analyst I.

This is a hybrid position-one day per week in the office.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4) years of experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or, where applicable, other relevant applications experience, per the department and/or position needs for HMH. This includes, but is not limited to, EPIC certifications such as Prelude, Cadence, Willow, Cogito, Ambulatory, MyChart, Resolute, Health Information Management.
