Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Applications Analyst III to gather business requirements, assess needs, and develop functional specifications to ensure IT solutions meet business objectives.

This hybrid/remote-friendly role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 3–7 years IT experience, strong desktop skills, and Epic certifications or equivalent. Onsite Wednesdays are required, with flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4) years of experience.
• Minimum of 3 (7 if no degree) years of IT experience, preferably in healthcare or related field OR 2 (4 if no degree) years of IT experience and 2 (4 if no degree) years of clinical experience.
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
• Works independently and effectively manages time with little or no supervision.
• Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.
• Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation.
• Collaborates with other team members across the department.
• Demonstrates self-direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.

Responsibilities

• The Applications Analyst III gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments, and develops functional specifications and build to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives.
• This level works with little or no supervision and acts as a resource for lower level Application Analysts.

• Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or, where applicable, other relevant applications experience, per the department and/or position needs for HMH. This includes, but is not limited to, EPIC certifications such as Prelude, Cadence, Willow, Cogito, Ambulatory, MyChart, Resolute, Health Information Management.
