Job summary

Bally's Shreveport is seeking a Slot Supervisor to oversee slot technicians, coordinate moves and conversions of slot machines, and ensure strict compliance with state gaming regulations. You will monitor the data system connected to the machines and maintain smooth relations with the State Police.

This role requires strong leadership, cash-handling acumen, and the ability to write routine reports. Associates or better are required, along with LA Alc Compliance Trainer and LA Ops License.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or better required.
• AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience.
• LA Alc Compliance Trainer and LA Ops License required.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

• Supervises Slot Techs. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to work well with large amounts of cash.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

• Will work with jet sorts, coin rollers, and slot machines on a daily basis. Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to lift heavy machinery.
• Must be able to stand at least 8 hours.

Compensation:

• $21.00/hr
