Job Summary:

To create a safe environment for the Advocate ministry of healing, providing security for staff, patients, volunteers, and visitors. The Supervisor - Security Operations Center leads operations, training, equipment, and performance to meet quality standards.

What You'll Need:

• APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator 1 certification within 12 months of employment.
• Associate's degree or 60 credit hours in IT, Law Enforcement, or related fields, with experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a security monitoring or dispatch center as a leader.
• Desirable: Security, law enforcement, or military background.
• Knowledge of alarm systems, monitoring hardware/software, and emergency response protocols.

What You'll Do:

• Manage shift schedules and staffing for safety.
• Control costs to meet departmental budgets.
• Stay informed of policies; contribute to service and satisfaction improvements.
• Ensure system functionality; communicate critical issues; provide daily summaries to management.
• Utilize advanced security technology for threat management and investigations.
• Implement procedures for incident response and coordinate with public safety.
• Maintain certifications and inspections of the security center and staff.
• Supervise and motivate Security Operations Center staff; manage schedules and payroll.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and training.
• Promote a respectful and diverse work environment.
