Job summary

ServiceSource in St. Louis, MO seeks a Security Supervisor to lead SCIF duties, manage SCI shipments and coordinate security operations. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility, plus a background check and 3 years of warehouse/supply experience.

Strong customer service, communication, and ability to follow directions are essential. High school diploma is required; duties include crisis support and supervision of security staff.

Qualifications

  • Must have 3 years of warehouse and supply operations experience.
  • High school diploma is required or equivalent.
  • Will be subject to a U.S. Government background check/investigation.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with possible Polygraph.

Responsibilities

  • Lead SCIF duties and be the POC for SCI classified shipments.
  • Provide guidance on shipment of classified material per NGA site guidance.
  • Enforce NGA policy changes and alert officials in emergencies.
  • Coordinate office moves within secure areas and secure transport.
  • Supervise security personnel and participate in staffing decisions.

Primary Duties

These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

  • This position will act as the Lead over the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) Representatives. Will serve as the POC regarding SCI classified shipments through the DOD courier system; provide guidance and assistance to all organizations regarding shipment of classified material in accordance with the guidance provided by the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) Site Security office.
  • Individual will be responsible for security alarms; SCIF access; briefings for special visits or functions and participate in crisis support as necessary.
  • Enforce and monitor any/all policy changes that may be provided by NGA. Alert and inform proper officials in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Coordinate office moves taking place within secure areas; and provide locks to secure trucks transporting classified material to and from the NGA facility or other agencies.
  • Be a single focal point for security related activities responsible for SCIF duties, Visitor Ctrl, Registry, etc. Supervisor of Security Specialist I, II, III and Visitor Control personnel. Participate in scheduling work, hiring, firing, discipline, advancement, and promotion of assigned personnel.
Additional Duties And Responsibilities
  • Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect security.
  • Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations.
  • Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
  • Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide appropriate information.
  • Warn persons of rule infractions or violations.
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Qualifications: Education, Experience and Certification(s)
  • Must have 3 years of warehouse and supply operations experience.
  • High school diploma is required or equivalent.
  • Must successfully pass all pre‑employment background screening requirements to include pre‑employment drug screening.
  • Will be subject to a U.S. Government background check/investigation.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with possible Polygraph.
