Job summary

ServiceSource Inc. seeks a Supervisor - Security Specialist to lead SCIF operations, manage SCI shipments, and ensure NGA policy compliance. The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph potential and a US government background check.

Will serve as the POC regarding SCI classified shipments through the DOD courier system; provide guidance and assistance to all organizations regarding shipment of classified material in accordance with the guidance provided by the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) Site Security office.* Individual will be responsible for security alarms; SCIF access; briefings for special visits or functions and participate in crisis support as necessary.* Enforce and monitor any/all policy changes that may be provided by NGA. Alert and inform proper officials in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.* Coordinate office moves taking place within secure areas; and provide locks to secure trucks transporting classified material to and from the NGA facility or other agencies.* Be a single focal point for security related activities responsible for SCIF duties, Visitor Ctrl, Registry, etc. Supervisor of Security Specialist I, II, III and Visitor Control personnel. Participate in scheduling work, hiring, firing, discipline, advancement, and promotion of assigned personnel.**Additional Duties and Responsibilities*** Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect security.* Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations.* Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.* Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide appropriate information.* Warn persons of rule infractions or violations.* Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.**Qualifications: Education, Experience and Certification(s)*** Must have 3 years of warehouse and supply operations experience.* High school diploma is required or equivalent.* Must successfully pass all pre- employment background screening requirements to include pre- employment drug screening.* Will be subject to a U.S. Government background check/investigation.* Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with possible Polygraph.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*** Customer service oriented and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
