Gerdau North America is seeking a Routine Facilitator I in the Wilton, IA area. The role focuses on standardizing processes, training operators, and driving continuous improvement within the GBS routines and safety programs.
The position requires an Associate’s Degree and 3–5 years in an industrial setting, with strong people skills and the ability to lead improvement initiatives and audits.

Duties will include controlling the workflow within the area of responsibility, assisting in minimizing downtime and breakdowns, maximizing productivity, monitoring performance, managing routine processes, and training employees in routine management standards.
The major role of this job is to ensure routine management efforts are followed and opportunities for improvement in processes, products, and production within the area of responsibility are identified. The Routine Facilitator I is responsible for ensuring standardization of processes within the area of responsibility.
The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum qualifications necessary at the entry to this role and critical for the satisfactory performance of essential duties. The education credentials must be earned from an accredited school/college/university.
Education: Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Material Science.
Work Experience: 3–5 years in an industrial or manufacturing environment with exposure to standardization and production quality methods.
Preferred Experience: Previous qualifying experience in scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, maintenance, finishing, shipping/warehouse operations, and supervisory/facilitation.
Incumbent must have a working knowledge of the steel manufacturing methods and techniques involving the use of heavy mill machinery and related equipment. Successful candidate will demonstrate a basic knowledge of the business system and the use of complex technical and engineering processes.
