Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Nursing Administration RN Supervisor for day shift, full-time, to coordinate patient care on designated shifts and support operations. The role partners with the administrator on call and collaborates across departments to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• 2-year associate degree.
• Three to five years of experience.
• Current Oklahoma RN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on designated shifts for the HMC campus in patient care areas in collaboration with the administrator on call.
• Provide direct operational support for the hospital on a shift basis; act as a clinical resource person for staff and liaise between staff and management.
• Work with the staffing office as needed to assure the best possible patient care.
• Provide the communication link between manager, staff, patients, physicians and others.
• Assist in patient placement as requested by transfer coordinator and in planning emergency nursing interventions.
• Facilitate problem resolution and collaborate with administration and the Medical Director in assessing quality of care and evaluating staff performance.
• Interface with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care coordination on designated shifts for the HMC campus in patient care areas in collaboration with the administrator on call.
• To ensure quality patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the organization, this position provides direct operational support for the hospital on a shift basis, acts as a clinical resource person for the staff and acts as a liaison between staff and management.
• Works with the staffing office as needed to assure the best possible patient care is always given.
• Provides the communication link between manager, staff, patients, physicians and others.
• Assists in patient placement as requested by transfer coordinator and in the planning of emergency nursing interventions.
• Facilitates problem resolution and collaborates with administration, and the Medical Director in assessing quality of care provided, identifying staff strengths and weaknesses, and in evaluation of staff performance.

Qualifications
