The Gulf Coast Medical Center Acute Rehabilitation Therapy Department is actively seeking a Supervisor of Rehabilitation to join our talented Acute Care Therapy Team. Gulf Coast Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center, an accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center, and dedicates specialized care to our Critical Care, Oncology, Orthopedic, Colorectal, Vascular, and General Surgery service lines.
We are looking for clinicians dedicated to providing high-quality comprehensive care for our specialty service lines and who are interested in promoting the growth and development of our Acute Care Therapy Services by collaborating in our unique patient care programs including our Animal Assisted Therapy, Early Activity Initiative, Why Not Home, and In-House Rehabilitation Programs.

As a Supervisor of Rehabilitation, you would be responsible for the supervision, training, and development of staff along with facilitation of efficient department operational functioning. The supervisor must maintain the ability to flex into a productive role pending patient care needs. Assists the manager in hiring, orienting, developing, mentoring, coaching, counseling, and terminating employees. Observes staff daily activities, provides input for competency evaluations, and assists in annual performance evaluations as assigned by the department manager. May represent the department and/or manager on campus committees and meetings as designated. Performs duties as a therapist as required.
