Job summary

Legend Biotech USA in New Jersey seeks a Supervisor, QC Microbiology to lead the QC microbiology laboratories in support of cell therapy manufacturing. You will manage staff, review data, and ensure adherence to cGMP and regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering, 6+ years of experience in aseptic manufacturing or QC/QA, and at least 1 year of leadership experience. Travel to NJ/PA sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 years relevant work experience in aseptic manufacturing, QC/QA or cell therapy preferred.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience required.
• Experience with quality systems, clinical quality, or R&D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operation and workflow of QC microbiology labs.
• Hire, develop and manage staff performance.
• Review/approve laboratory test data and maintain documentation.
• Develop and implement microbiology procedures and methods.
• Support investigations and department projects.
