Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Director, QC Microbiology at the Summit, NJ CAR T facility. You will lead all QC Microbiology operations supporting stability programs, testing of materials, and environmental monitoring, while guiding investigations and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include managing personnel, budgeting, and collaborating across functions to drive quality excellence. The role requires senior leadership experience and strong communication skills within a GMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferable in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related science.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 10 years of relevant work experience required.
• Leadership experience with direct reports required.

Responsibilities

• Manages all activities related to the Quality Control Microbiology department including Stability testing, Raw material, in-process, and final product testing.
• Environmental Monitoring and Method validations/maintenance.
• Metrics/data analysis and Investigations.
• Management and scheduling of personnel within the department to meet schedules and ensure training and qualification.
