A leading company in food processing is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a dedicated team, ensuring safety and quality in production. The role involves managing operations, fostering teamwork, and driving continuous improvement while adhering to compliance regulations. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience and a background in food processing.
Overview: Leads an assigned production team to achieve goals and problem solve while demonstrating a commitment to employee safety, teamwork, and product quality. Responsible for product processing, packaging, and storage in compliance with FDA, USDA, and Simmons rules and regulations.
Essential Position Responsibilities - This is a Salary Exempt position.
Physical Activities: Computer use, visual verification, communication, working in various temperatures, and movement within a manufacturing environment.
PPE: As required by the facility.
Travel: May include travel to other local facilities.
Technical Experience: Leadership skills, proficiency in English, knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
Industry Experience: Preferred experience in food processing.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years related work experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
