Job summary

Ersilia in Coppell, TX is seeking a Supervisor Production Maintenance to lead the Production Technical Support Department. You will supervise maintenance activities, ensure steady production workflows, and report to the Manager/Sr Director Production Tech Support.

The role requires 5+ years of equipment operation/repair experience, a technical degree, and supervisory background in high-volume settings. Shift is 6:00 PM–2:30 AM on weekdays with 10% shift differential, and a potential annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Technical/Trade School required.
• 5+ years’ experience in operation and repair of production equipment.
• Experience with insertion and bindery equipment; electrical and electronics repair a plus.
• Knowledge of reporting tools Jet/IQ.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience in a high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and mechanical support to all production mechanics; maintains workflow and timely repairs.
• Maintains parts inventory and lists parts with vendor costs.
• Monitors preventive maintenance per schedule and records.
• Keeps informed of new technology used by tech support and production ops.
• Fills in and assumes department management in the Manager’s absence.
• Meets or exceeds cost per unit targets on shift (labor, overtime, inventory).
• Maximizes machine throughput and ensures proper documentation.
• Ensures adherence to departmental procedures and records.
• Rewards, recognizes, and disciplines associates.

Base Salary –$70,000 – $85,000 (+ Bonus)

Location – Coppell, Texas( or ) Edgewood, NY

Company Details:

We’re looking for a Supervisor Production Maintenance to join us in Coppell, Texas.

In this role, you will supervise the Production Technical Support Department. Reports to Manager/Sr Director Production Tech Support.

The work hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM

During off-peak times, and 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM during on-peak times

10% shift differential.

Eligible for annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Technical/Trade School
• 5+ years’ experience in the operation and repair of production equipment.
• Proficiency in the operation and repair of insertion and bindery equipment, electronic and electric circuit experience necessary.
• Electrical and electronics repair a plus.
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of reporting tools Jet/IQ
• 1+ years’ min. supervisory experience in a high-volume production environment

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and mechanical support to all production mechanics as required. Monitors all work in progress ensuring that a constant production workflow is maintained and equipment repairs are completed in a timely fashion.
• Maintains our parts inventory for all equipment by providing a complete list of parts to be ordered, including the vendor cost for each part.
• Monitor records of preventive maintenance performed on equipment and ensures that the maintenance occurs according to scheduled deadlines.
• Keeps informed of all new technology and equipment used by the technical support and production operations departments.
• Fills in and assumes all Management responsibilities in the Department Manager’s absence.
• Accountable to meet or exceed Cost Per Unit targets on his/her shift (i.e. labor costs, overtime, inventory control etc.)
• Monitors and maximizes machine throughput.
• Verifies work is filled out properly, monitoring and following departmental procedures.
• Reward, Recognizes and Disciplines associates.
