Job Title: Production Equipment Technician (6 Openings)
Base Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 Annually
Work Type: 100% On-Site
Time: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Production Equipment Technicians to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and performance of production machinery. This role is fully on-site and plays a critical part in maintaining operational efficiency.
The technician will be responsible for performing both preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of production equipment, including systems related to archival storage and retrieval of computer-generated data (file-based servers), where applicable.
The ideal candidate is comfortable interpreting technical manuals and service bulletins to create effective troubleshooting plans and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues to minimize downtime
- Respond promptly to Technical Support calls to ensure timely issue resolution
- Accurately log all service activity, labor hours, and parts usage into the technician tracking system (e.g., FIIX)
- Install and maintain electrical wiring and controls for production equipment
- Install, diagnose, and repair computer hardware connected to production systems
- Support equipment relocation and assist with new equipment installation
- Monitor parts usage and provide recommendations for inventory levels
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
- Vendor or equipment repair certification preferred (e.g., BlueCrest, Bowe, Buhrs, or similar platforms)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience operating and repairing high-speed production equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
