Job summary

Product Pulse in Coppell, TX is seeking a Supervisor Production Maintenance to lead the Production Technical Support Department. You will oversee frontline mechanics, schedule preventive maintenance, and manage parts inventories to maintain steady production flow.

The role requires 5+ years in production equipment operation and repair, 1+ year supervisory experience, and knowledge of bindery equipment; a degree or technical training is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operation and repair of production equipment.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Proficiency with insertion and bindery equipment; electronic and electric circuit work.
• Electrical/Electronics repair experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of reporting tools Jet/IQ.

Responsibilities

• Direct and provide mechanical support to production mechanics; ensure continuous workflow and timely repairs.
• Maintain parts inventory with full parts list and vendor costs for ordering.
• Track preventive maintenance records and ensure schedules are met.
• Stay informed on new technology and equipment for technical support and production.
• Cover managerial duties in the Department Manager's absence.
• Meet or exceed Cost Per Unit targets including labor, overtime, and inventory control.
• Monitor machine throughput and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Complete and verify proper documentation of work and procedures.
• Reward, recognize and discipline associates as needed.
