Overview

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Supervisor, Production - 3rd Shift to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow.

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes, and fuel tanks.

Position Location Detail: This position is located at our GD Lincoln West facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production operations for assigned units or during an assigned shift.
• Oversee workers operating production machinery, assembling items, performing quality control, or packaging goods for shipment.
• Notify maintenance or engineering departments when equipment requires maintenance or repair.
• Monitor output of assigned areas against established schedules or quality goals. Coordinate workflow and ensure sufficient inventory levels and staffing.
• Lead and direct the work of employees and handle personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary issues with HR and management concurrence.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 3-5 years relevant experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business.
