General Purpose:
Accountable for understanding the business and translating commitments into day-to-day activities that achieve business results.
This is a 2nd Shift position.
Responsibilities:
- Assure adequate workforce planning to achieve production goals.
- Implement and support self-managed teams.
- Guarantee the safety of your work area and team members by adhering to safety policies and procedures, and promoting a safety mindset.
- Ensure all products meet quality requirements through education, quality checks, and measures.
- Collaborate with others in the organization to meet takt times and delivery goals.
- Ensure team members have the necessary tools and knowledge to meet demands.
- Set performance expectations, conduct 1:1 coaching, and perform evaluations for performance, behaviors, and development plans.
- Meet and exceed all cost standards, continuously seeking leaner and lower-cost processes, including waste reduction.
- Communicate effectively both inward and outward to your team and the business.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Solve problems analytically by searching out relevant information and gauging its importance for decision-making.

Education, Training, and Skills Required:
- High school diploma or GED; 3+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
- College degree in a related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in teams with high adaptability and flexibility.
- Strong desire to learn new skills and knowledge.
- Dependability, work ethic, and dedication to quality work.
- System skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, ERP/MRP, CRM, etc.
- Knowledge of Lean/5S concepts.
- Understanding of basic production work instructions.
- Analytical skills including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Effective communication skills with respect and care for colleagues.
- Minimal travel may be required.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to see and hear alarms, follow verbal instructions, and wear PPE.
- Ability to tolerate environments with chemicals and materials within OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to climb up and down 8 stairs.
Work Environment:
- Responsible for handling hazardous waste in compliance with regulations.
- Potential exposure to toxic chemicals and noise levels requiring PPE.
