Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.

• Strong knowledge of safety, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet throughput, quality, cost, and cycle-time objectives.
• Directly supervise and develop a team of manufacturing technicians and operators.
• Enforce safety procedures, cleanroom protocols, and EHS standards; participate in audits and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, yield, and cycle time using Lean/Six Sigma; lead kaizen events.
• Communicate production status and risks to stakeholders; support change management.

Whether it's improving products, supporting customers, or positively influencing peers and the community, the contributions of our people matter.**Shift:**The regular hours for this position are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday from 6:00am to 6:15pm.**Job Description:**The **Supervisor, Production** leads and develops a team of manufacturing technicians in a high‐volume, high‐precision **FormFactor semiconductor fab environment.** This role is responsible for executing daily production plans, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and driving continuous improvement across assigned shifts or production areas. **Key Responsibilities:** **Production & Operations*** Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet **throughput, quality, cost, and cycle‐time objectives**.* Execute production schedules, capacity plans, and work priorities across assigned tools and processes.* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including yield, equipment utilization, scrap, and on‐time delivery.* Escalate and coordinate resolution of production issues impacting safety, quality, or output. **People Leadership** * Directly supervise and develop a team of **manufacturing technicians and operators**.* Conduct daily shift meetings, performance check‐ins, coaching, and corrective action as needed.* Execute hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and timekeeping activities.* Complete formal performance reviews and succession development planning.* Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. **Quality, Safety & Compliance** * Enforce compliance with **safety procedures, cleanroom protocols, and EHS standards**.* Ensure adherence to **ISO, quality system, and fab operating procedures**.* Participate in audits, corrective actions, and root‐cause investigations.* Champion safe work practices and immediate response to safety incidents. **Continuous Improvement** * Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, yield, and cycle time using **Lean / Six Sigma principles**.* Lead kaizen events, standard work creation, and process improvement initiatives.* Partner cross‐functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Planning teams. **Communication & Collaboration** * Serve as the primary point of coordination between technicians, engineers, and management.* Communicate production status, risks, and corrective actions clearly and proactively.* Support change management initiatives and implementation of new tools or processes.**Skills:**Cleanroom Operations, Continuous Improvement Plans, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Lean Manufacturing Principles, Operations Problem Solving, People Leadership, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Team Supervision**Education & Experience:**Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience | Required**Pay Range:**$84,800.00 - $111,300.00**Pay Range Explained:**This role in Livermore, California pays between $84,800.00 and $111,300.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations.
