Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a supervisor to oversee operational activities on 2nd shift at the Goshen, IN facility. The role focuses on safety, quality, and production goals, leading a team to sustain clean and safe work areas and enforce standard work.

You will manage manufacturing personnel, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with policies and safety rules while developing staff capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
• BS degree or AS degree in a technical or business-related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and develop manufacturing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Promote clean, safe work areas throughout the plant and identify hazards.
• Achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals for the department and plant.
• Supervise manufacturing activities within the department and shift.
• Create, maintain, and audit Standard Work.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety rules.

Job Description:

Responsible for the supervision of operational activities in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards to achieve established production schedules and desired quality levels in a safe manner.

The most successful supervisor motivates employees to resolve issues and make good decisions in order to meet departmental and plant goals in the areas of safety, quality and production.Together with your team you will promote a clean safe work area whilecontinuously checking for hazardous conditions and ensure policies, programs and standard work procedures are followedto meet production goals.

This position is on 2nd shift at our Goshen, IN facility, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday overtime.

Key Accountabilities

• Promote clean, safe work areas throughout the plant by continuously checking for hazardous conditions.
• Achieve departmental, plant, and corporate goals for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Supervise the activities and personnel engaged in manufacturing of products within their assigned department and shift.
• Create, maintain, and audit Standard Work.
• Interpret, apply, and/or consistently enforce all company policies, programs, rules, regulations, and safety rules.
• Lead production employees in continuous improvement activities.
• Develop, direct, and manage manufacturing personnel and train them to properly utilize all equipment and tools.

Education & Experience
