Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Dining Supervisor to oversee the PennWest Clarion University Dining Hall on a full-time basis, including some nights and weekends. This role offers growth opportunities within a supportive team and a culture focused on high-quality service.

The successful candidate will have prior culinary/foodservice experience, excellent customer service, strong communication, and proven team leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Successful team leadership experience.
• Moving, bending, stooping, lifting and standing on a frequent basis.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front end production.
• Follow opening procedures, including opening and handling cash drawers.
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to food and physical safety programs.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns).
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
• Perform any other duties as specified by management.
